Wild Boar Hunting in Eastern Europe

Postby Johnny_Mo » Wed Mar 12, 2014 9:42 am

So I've been offered a boar hunting trip to Hungary or Poland this year. This will be my first abroad hunt, so I'm generally clueless. Does anyone with experience in this region have any tips on regulations, location, climate etc.? Anything would be useful.

Thanks! :)

I don't have any experience with that, and I suspect you won't find many folk on here that do.

However, if you go to the 24HourCampfire and look for the European sub-forum, you'll find LOTS of guys with experience. Tell them the shaman sent you.

I've only hunted wild boar in Tennessee so I can't speak for Europe. What I can tell you is that we did it with the bow and in that case I highly recommend that you bring plenty of extra pairs of underwear! :o
