evaluate/test...I use these terms interchangeably when teaching my science classes... an evaluation is simply a test of effectiveness. An experiment is a test of a hypothesis.

Anyway, toMAYto/toMAHto....

So again, what do you mean when you say you are going to evaluate "compatibility"??

I answered in the prior post but will post it again.

"In regards to compatibility, I will be applying all the products to a very common substance (polystyrene) as well as recording the mfgr warning about applying their products to rubber, plastic, gun finishes, etc. Some of these products come with warning about getting it on non-metal surfaces while others actually recommend their product for wood, leather, plastic, etc."

The compatability I speak of is compatability between these gun care products and all the non-metal compounds they will touch and possibly harm.
