Wow Shaman, that's quite a story!  I think you'd make good company sitting around a campfire!

As far as how I want people to perceive me I'll try to make the list short and simple in no particular order.

Honest
Good Family Man
Helpful
Mature
Christian
Experienced hunter but always willing to learn more, never a know it all
Trusted friend
Respect the Environment and work hard to protect and help preserve it through volunteer work in my community

More than anything I want people to know I'm a devoted hunter that enjoys the comaraderie at Deer Camp and the stories created year to year that become some of my favorite memories.  I am also very dedicated to introducing the sport of hunting to my two sons so that they too can pass it on to future generations!  Great subject!

69Viking, I think you just said it best.  "HE MADE GOOD COMPANY SITTING AROUND A CAMPFIRE." There's an epitaph for me.  There, guys.  You can take all the rest away.  That's it.

keystonehunter,
Thanks for your input.  Yes, my intent was more to see how folks want to be viewed on the forum, but it does crossover a lot to life in general.

I'd like to be remembered as an example of this saying:

"Growing old is inevitable, growing UP is an option!"
Hunt Hard,

Kill Swiftly,

Waste Nothing,

Offer No Apologies.....
