Family Day Trip at Whitcomb's Whitetails

Postby Patriot » Sat Jan 03, 2009 3:47 pm

Hey everyone,
The whole family (5 of us) piled in my "deer truck" and took a day trip today to a place called Whitcomb's Whitetails.  They sell food plot seed, gather doe estrus urine on site, sell bows, archery range....the whole bit.

Thought you might enjoy these pics of the joint.  They also breed there.  They only allow one buck (a 200 inch monster) to do all the breeding.  I got one photo of him, but he was too far away.

These deer are genetic freaks and supplemented with the best food.  Doubtful to see much like it in the real world, but very cool nonetheless.

Nice pics Patriot!  Where is this located at?  I can't be too far away from it since you're just a stone throw across the border from me!

No shortage of mass in any of those antlers.

It's located in Princeton, MN.   That's a bit of a trek, but worth it!

They also support Centershot Ministries and have free indoor shooting every Friday night.

I can't wait to check it out specifically next August when all the big boys are in velvet!

...oh, one of the bucks had already dropped both of his antlers, but he was injured earlier this year, so I'm sure that's why.  Another buck had dropped one antler.
