My Bow Hunting Spot is the ground adjoining our property....the Wife's Family Farm of about 105 Acres right out the back door,it takes me about 15-20 minutes to walk back to my closest stand and a little longer to one of my fartherest stand locations. [;)]

My Land and surrounding properties...10 mins. away, I am the only hunter.
Town owned, permit required public land...10 mins. away, up to 12 people able to hunt on any given day, never seen more than 4.

I am very lucky to be able to have and hunt areas like this in Central Conn.,

My best hunting spots are at least 50 miles away . I have some closer places where I can hunt but they are not as productive .

Both properties are owned my parents, who live less than 30 min from me!  I hunted there all but one weekend this fall, gun and bow season!

The main spot I hunt is 2 minutes from my house on my grandparent's 300 acre farm. It's awesome with it being so close! I can also hunt behind my house which consists mostly of fields.
I also hunt an hour away on my families farm. This spot I mostly gun hunt on and I don't do much bowhunting there.

No doubt! I know Ct. quite well. My father lives in No. Ct. and I spent a lot of time there as a kid. There is not a lot of ground available. You must be doing things right.

640 acres right out my front door, about half bush and the other half 3rd year alfalfa and some cereal crops, plus other various private land areas
