Need your opion

Postby TheHoglandWonder » Thu Nov 06, 2008 11:41 am

I don't mean to start a war, but I am looking for a new pickup and was looking for suggestions. I know this subject can go on pages and pages. Just wondering if I could get some feedback on compact trucks and full size trucks. Thinking about getting a 4cyl Tacoma with five speed (4x4) as my little huntin buggy.

You honestly can`t go wrong with any Toyota, they`re well engineered, well built for the most part, and the engines especially, just don`t want to die.

I like the Chevy Silverado`s myself, and I think their quality is getting better, still not like Toyota, but Chevy is just my preferrence.

I know how you feel I have always been a dodge guy, but this time around all I care about is the steel bed in the back rather than a trunk. Just want something small and great on gas. The 4 cyl 4x4 should get about twenty five mile a gal.

The Chevy's just do it for me, for one reason or another.

Just love my Chevy.  No major problems from the several I have owned, both 2 and 4 wheel.  Will be getting another next time also.  Pan

Got a '08 Chevy about a month ago.  Love it to death except for the cloth seat covers.  They're like lint traps.

What is it with all you Chevy lovers on here. lol. I'm a Ford man all the way. The 2009 F-150s are awesome! I'm sure they don't get the mileage like a Toyota, but Fords have the power.
