what day do you have to hunt

I don't have an exact day, but rather a week.  The weekend right before Thanksgiving up through the weekend after.  As you WI hunters know, this is the gun hunting season, and it's been a family/friend tradition ever since I can remember.  It's by far my favorite time of the year!!!!

 
Hey now that IS cheating! How's come I only got one day (well okay, part of two), and buckhunter21 gets a whole week?

I am with buckhunter21. I hunt the week beginning on the first sat. in Nov. Which here in Ky. is the week before gun season when all the great hunters take to the woods.

I like any of these days: November 8,9,10.  No particular reason other than the rut is usually going at this time.  Truly ANY day I get to spend hunting is a great day.

Any day I can get out there which is often. I work a 12 hour swing and am off 14 out of 28 days. I also hunt a couple of hours off night shift sometimes. For my area, the last week of Nov and the first week of Dec are the best for seeing a good buck. I'll be there every day I can during that time.

I would have to say opening day of Bow Season ..Sept 15,after that I would choose Oct 31 for a Holloween Buck or any time during the Rut in November!  [;)]
