Venison Donation

I just got done searching the MN DNR website for processors that take meat for venison donation.  The list only consists of 14 processors that you are allowed to take your venison to be donated.  Is it just me or is this ridiculous?  14? Come on MN!  I am curious what other states are like for donating their venison?  How many available locations are there in your states?  I would like to donate venison to help out needy families but the closest one to me is over an hour away!  Thanks for letting me vent!
