Just like the masses, I vote movement by far.  A few years back I had a matriarch doe and two fawns 20 yards out.  I extended my index finger and mama busted me.  I am pretty sure I could have been sitting in the tree with purple polka dots and she wouldn't noticed but I didn't stand a chance after she saw me move.
 
Have had other times where they have noticed the steam from my breath and reacted to it.

movement is your worst enemy. but, a good camo that breaks up your outline,with a background that does the same will allow to you to...    sometimes....get away with those often needed,  slow, deliberate movements.

Well just for the record, for me this question is a no-brainer....MOVEMENT, so that makes it unanimous.
