Seriously, I would guess that these guys are showing this film, b/c they either have him behind a high fence or on such a large piece of ground that nobody else can get to him.

i would say there is some funny buisness going on here..maybe a pen raised deer set free, or a high fence..because that deer would not make it with antlers like those..every hunter in wisconsin including poachers would be trying to hunt that thing

I would believe this buck to be real and legitimate because it's in Buffalo County and on land where Buffalo County Outfitters clients hunt. Buffalo County Outfitters practices QDM and their hunters always take mature bucks. Book your hunt with them now for next year. lol. Maybe he'll make it through the year.

Whats sad is that some of you think that this deer is pen raised or isn't free ranging.  Buffalo county is not known to many as to where the giants roam.  Its always Iowa or Illinios, or Kansas.  Wisconsin was ranked number 1 for pope and young entries and I believe 2nd for boone and crockett.  Right on there website it says that they either own or lease the land that there clients hunt on.  No game farms or high fences for them, 100% fair chase.

Right on gunther89 wisconsin always ranks at the top of the list for both p+y b+c bucks I believe Buffalo County is almost alway #1 in the nation for both....

That is one nice buck! That is what I call QDM results! Looks like he is still in velvet, and that can make them appear bigger than they actually are, nice one regardless.  It doesnt matter if he is "up north"......him and his buddies will migrate pass my stand in west central IL., come November![;)]
