ive got a 110" +/- rack that was found attached to the skull for rattlers. my quest is has anyone ever "cured" antlers for this purpose? ive heard of guys using all kinds of things from lindseed oil to kerosene to make the antlers more durable. in theory it makes a lil sense but the smell has got to be horrid (in a deer hunting sense). just wondering if anybody has heard of this or actually done it.
