Saw my first FL buck in velvet

All the years I have lived in FL (30+) I have only seen 2 bucks. One was a looooong time ago alongside the interstate, another was in the Keys.
 
 
 
Yesterday we were shooting bow at this outdoor facility at a local county park. We were driving around checking out the picnic areas, bmx track etc and lo an behold one jumped out right in front of us.
 
Small 6, but in full velvet, pretty neat scenario for my first.

wow thats really sweet! its a bummer that you havent seen many bucks, but when you do it makes it all worth the while. A few years back  I was drivign to panama city beach for sprin g break with a few buds and it was crazy how many deer we saw on the way there at night by the highway in alabama.  do you drive there to hunt? or where do you mainly hunt?
