How do you block the auto play function on Charlie A.'s Spot on the D&DH home page?  Every time I log on ...I am always forgeting to cut the speakers down and away we go....  an thus I am busted by whatever customer I happen to be talking to on the phone......  Who then knows I am goofing off ....HELP PLEASE!

What you can do is save the forum page or any other,..( blogs, features etc..) as one of your favorites.
When your "goofing off" while your talking to your customers and you click onto the D&DH site, you will go right to the forum or blog page you had chosen to save, and then you'll realize your there....and then bingo, time to turn off the speakers.
I do not think you can deactivate the sound from the home page once you click on it.
