The Movie "Hanna"

Postby Woods Walker » Sat Dec 31, 2011 6:33 am

My wife and I just watched this movie. It's an odd tale about a teenaged girl raised in Iceland by her father, an ex CIA agent. The film begins with her making a kill on a reindeer with a BOW! And it's one of the most realistic bow kills I've ever seen in a movie.

That got my attention! Unfortunately that's all the archery there is in the movie (and it's not entirely accurate, but as good as you'll get from Hollywood)until the very end, and that's with an arrow only.

Anyone else see it?

No, But I will when I get my computer fixed. It is rare to see hunting portraied well.
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I guess she didn't believe in waiting 30 minutes on a lung shot.
That was very realistic for Hollywood. Enjoyed the quick look.

Cool cover though. Is that why you rented it?
