Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because THE ANIMALS MAY GROW DEPENDENT AND NOT LEARN TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES". [emphasis mine]



My daughter is a D.C. based reporter for an on-line publication that serves agri-business, and she covers a lot of the House ag committee hearings and other gov agencys and reports on them. She told me that close to EIGHTY PERCENT of the current farm bill is for WELFARE FOOD PROGRAMS!
