Propane Heater

Postby DaBears90 » Mon Nov 09, 2009 5:12 pm

I hunt in Northern Wisonsin in November for gun season. Its gets so cold that this year I was thinking about buying a small propane heater for my ground blind. I was wondering that if it will give off any smells that might scare the deer, or if it would be okay to use it.
Thanks much
Matt

I've used them on a couple of different leases and it never seemed to bother the deer.
I wouldn't use one if you're bow hunting tho.
That's probably taking a chance that would end up ruining your hunt.
Just remember that you can't leave the heater in your stand when you leave. I don't want you to blow up when you return and light it up again.
Good luck and stay warm.
