Guys before this thread dribbles off topic .i would just like to re-iterate that i do feel that most Americans feel almost exactly as Jim had stated earlier.... Democrat or Republican ...one thing we all have in common is that we all feel this recession..some of us hit harder than others . I just hope that when our leaders and politicians fail us like now :that we can remain compassionate to one another and have some form of empathy to those less fortunate.

let's NOT act as they choose to.. we as humble, taxpaying citizens, are better than they are.....Maybe if they ALL lived off close to our incomes they would find a way ...until then i believe we have each other..were all in this together and i feel all of your frustration towards our leaders...let's not lose faith in ourselves...

Good post.
Sadly though, they are living off OUR incomes, and snub us every chance they get for political gain.
Most have all forgotten they work for us.

Not me! That's why I see red when I hear about "the GOVERNMENT'S money!"

Government hell! That's OUR money!

I remember how many hopes and dreams we all used to have about Obama.. Nonetheless, it's not to be forgotten that he had to rule the country where everything was screwed up. Let's be fair, it could have been much worse

Could've been much worse? Like 1929? I've got news for you, if you are in anyway part of the construction/building/housing industry it IS 1929!!!

Things were not good when Obama took over after 2 years of HIS PARTY IN FULL CONTROL of the House and Senate (where, BTW, EVERY SINGLE PENNY OF OUR MONEY IS ACTUALLY AUTHORIZED TO BE SPENT), and then he was in control for ANOTHER TWO YEARS with him not only as President, but also with a VETO PROOF MAJORITY IN THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH....and things still are in the crapper.

No, this incompetent loser has GOT to go.

I cannot afford any more of his "Hope and Change".
