Unbelievable. If that were pro-hunting/shooting people making similar comments about an antihunting/gun person they'd be investigated and brought in for questioning forthwith.

Amazes me how quickly people just hate. Not just in regards to hunting, but in general.
When my daughter was growing up, at times she would say, "I hate this or that". My response always was, "Don't hate". To this day she does not use that word casually. Hate will consume you.

Not quite Kell. Animals don't hate, only humans can do that. After all, we're more "intelligent" and "advanced" over animals.

To call these lower life forms "animals" is doing animals a disservice.

How about, "fetid pond scum"?

Why is it people tend to humanize animals, assign values and thought to them, giving them rights as if they were people, yet when people behave badly we call them animals?

Why is it, when a bear learns to hate enough to threaten men, we kill it. When a dog bites too often, we kill it. When coyotes raid our farms, we kill them. But when people threaten the lives of people, with all the viciousness they can muster, they are protected by the right to free speech? Disgusting.

But think about it......

When a bear attacks, or a wasp stings you it is NOT doing it out of hate. It's only doing what it's biologically programmed to do and than's either defend it's territory/young or it's simply trying to eat. Yes, they can injure or even kill you and you need to defend yourself, but there is no malice or other ulterior motives involved.

The bear, coyote or wasp is merely doing what bears, coyotes or wasps do.

I know there was a discussion here awhile back and some people were saying we should never give any reason for the anti's to come hate on us and our proud tradition of hunting. Well, i could really careless what they think or say. They don't like it when I legally kill game and show proper respect for the wildlife and the land for which they dwell on. Thats fine. I do it that way not to try to impress anyone. I just think that is the right thing to do as an outdoorsman.. When I here or read about their attacks on people and organizations that support the hunting culture, I can't help but think that these individuals are the same individuals that preach tolerance, peace, and equality in our society. They are obviously hypocrites with a mental problem. Only if you agree with their beliefs. Which I don't. So, happy hunting fellas.

I agree with this 100%. We will NEVER, EVER change their minds.

The group that we need to be concerned about are the NON-hunters. Many of them are neither anti or pro hunting, but they also outnumber us and WILL be the deciding factor of any question of hunting privileges. Fortunatley they can also be reasoned with, unlike rabid antihunters.
