There is no truth to that statement. There is no way to tell what any piticular deer will produce. I believe that has more to do with nutrition, than anything else. I am a meat hunter, and don't care much about bone, but I'm sure the experts will kick in and tell you all you ever wanted to know about bones.

The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.
