can of soup

Is 6 years too long to open a can of chowder soup thats been in your cabinet all those years and eat it?

For the cost of a can of clam chowder - yes.

I don't think I would chance it when you consider the cost to replace it. Maybe if stranded and that was the ONLY thing to eat then I might consider it, 6 years is a long time for anything!
