Picture Problems - Idea for D&DH

Lately I have noticed a lot of pictures are showing up with a red X. Also a lot of pictures show up too huge to view properly because the newer digital cameras have a high megapixel value.

Another local forum that I am a member of handles pictures a little different in that their image uploading software re-sizes any picture that is posted on the forum down to a lower pixel value such as 800 x 800. If D&DH could adopt this process with their image uploading software it would cure the problem of the huge pictures from the newer digital cameras and it might possibly solve the red X problem. Re-sizing all pictures down to 800 x 800 would also save a lot of space on the D&DH servers.

Ok, just an idea I have that maybe can help.
