I just finished reading City of Thieves - Benioff
 
Its set in Russia during WWII, couple af young men set out into enemy territory looking for a dozen eggs.
It's actually quite amusing, adventurous, and thrilling. The writer also ties ALOT of history into it (how the non-military fought and survived during those horrendous years).
A very easy read. Very. 258 pages

I just finished reading Door Into Summer by Robert Heinlein

Great futuristic novel written in the late 50's set in 1970/2000-01.
Great "sci fi" book without too much "fi."
It was a very catching book about a man who builds household automated cleaning machines and builds a company, runs into some bumps, takes a "deep sleep" for 30 years, and fixes his bumps.
It is hard to say more without any spoilers. There is an interesting relationship between him and his cat, Pete, that is very touching.

75/100 points. Very thought provoking and sentimental.

This week I finished Wildfire by Nelson DeMille. This man can write as well as anyone I've ever found. Scary part of this book is, the main plot could be true. It's set about a year after 9-11.
