Had my surgery yesterday

Postby John1961 » Sat May 16, 2009 1:41 am

I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left wrist yesterday. My right was done April 1st. I'll be a new man this season. LOL. My wife is ready to either throw me out or shoot me. I have been off work sense April 1st. I've cleaned my fire arms 3 times, bought a new ladder stand, put it together and put it against the garage and yes I set in it.
oh well...... 6 more weeks to go.

John,
Wishing you a speedy recovery. I've been off since Jan 27th of this year(group work force reduction). My wife says she can't get on the computer (D&DH Forums). I'm saving some honey-do's for better weather and I've got all my hunting gear laid out downstairs so I can clean/repair what needs  it. Wife can't get near her sewing machine because of it. On the other hand, I've done lots of shed hunting, turkey hunting,reading....the pay sucks but I love the hours

Best of luck with your recovery.

Does this change your plans of coming to my neck of the woods in July?

Had my first visit after the surgery last Friday. Because of the manual labor involved in my job, Doc has me off 8 more weeks. As for typing, I only use my middle fingers any way. I like the finger wave tho. LOL.
