They would probably do forensic studys on "your kill" and see if it was shot in the front, a defenceive shot as it was running at you, or in the back, murder as it was running away from you. Any way you look at it they would spend tons of taxpayer money to find out. lol

I'd say you are in the clear! If a farmer has an apple tree and some kid breaks his leg stealing apples, even if he has been told to stay out, they call that an attractive nusiance! Just like you must fence in a pool. Big Foot in the woods in hunting season is to me an attractive nusiance. and you should be able to shoot him, and then sue him for making you do it! Think of the movie rights! ;)
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

I guess that vepends on if it vites libral or concervative. ;)
