This guy is unbelievable! I thought it was camera trickery until I saw the slow motion. Or am I wrong?

I have seen this guy a lot doing this type of shooting demonstrations (not live). So unless there is some kind of manipulation of the filming this guy is for real.

I the only thing that matters is speed, then he is Phenomenal. But the balloons are burst from the pressure of the blanks fired. It is a scatter gun in it's truest sense. No accuracy required. Slowmo shows the gun aimed at the dirt as it fires( last shot) With live rounds, his toes are in danger. Now the guy that impressed me was tossing, and hitting aspirin! I will take a good shot over a fast shot anyday.

Interesting.......I had assumed that he was using shotshells in the .45, but I never considered the shockwave. The balloons were only set at 8', so that may very well be the trick. But that said, that sumbuck IS fast!!!!!

But I agree, I saw Byron Ferguson shoot those apirins out of the air live at an outdoor show once, and he IS amazing! And he's one nice gentleman to boot. I stopped at his booth and chatted with him for a few minutes after I bought his book....."Become The Arrow"......Great read!

He tells you he is shooting blanks. Watch the super slomo two shot. the angle of the propellent changes some, but he just has to be in the right general direction. I have seen a couple of these old west gunfight shows over the years out west, but I don't have any idea if I have seen his or not. But for safety reasons alone, they can not use live ammo with the bystander watching from the storefronts, and raised sidewalks. It is all stage setting, noise, force and speed. But it looks good! High falls into wagons, lots of gunsmoke, and the hero always wins. Alot like that resturant, Midevil Times. Staged to the bad guy's last breath.

It seems the claims of Bob Munden are undocumented. He was taken out of the Guinness Book of World Records. Sounds like a con-artist to me.
