I am sorry to hear you lost your companion.

It is tough but try to think of the good times if you can.

Ohio Farms,
Sorry for the loss of your dog. Very sad.

Woods Walker,
I like the story by Earl Hamner. It was made into an epside of the Twiliight Zone. The episode views exactly like the story.

Would you happen to have a link to that episode? I'd love to see it.

I had to put down my 4 year old beagle, "Tanner", a few years ago. He ruptured his spine jumping off the couch of all things. Hardest thing I ever did was leave him at the Vet's. I still miss him and sometimes cry when I think about him and I'm 62 yrs. old!!!! I know exactly how you feel and my prayers are with you.

I know that many people have gone through what I am going through now and you all have my deepest sympathy. I held her while the Vet pushed the meds and watched her take her last breath. Buried her wrapped in a baby blanket with her toys at my Farm. Lost my composure during that, but I figured I owed her my being there at the end. Tearful.
Thanks everyone for your help.
