Looking to buy a muzzleloader...

Postby HiddenHornsRanch » Mon Aug 31, 2009 3:11 pm

I have never hunted with a muzzleloader before, and have seen it done, so I would like to take it up and try it out. Try something new. I really like Thompson Center guns, so I was looking at getting the TC Triumph. Has anyone used this gun before, and if so is it any good? Or is there another brand that yall find that works considerably well? Thanks.

Cabela's had a huge sale last year on the Remington Genesis. I picked one up and I couldn't have been happier. It shoots consistently, very accurate and I couldn't pass it up for the price.

I bought a cva two years ago..... three bucks and a doe later, not looking for anything else. Payed 250.00 and dropped them where they stood. Put the money in the scope a nikon omega bdc......it's awesome.

You can't go wrong with a TC.  I have an Omega and an Encore.
