Very true! And sometimes the bigger the buck the more likely that he'll hunker down too. If he doesn't move out of the area as soon as he detects any sign of human presence (which in farm country is unlikely...as he'd never stop running), then he'll hang tight and many times you don't ever see them. A study showed that it was HARDER to move a buck out of his core area than a doe.
