This will either hurt me or help me. Less than 2 months before the opener, and the trail club just completed a new trail that goes further toward a likely bedding, and definite travel corridor between the dense-human part of the park, and the apple orchard just adjacent to the park. I already have a few potential ground blinds between this new trail and the feeding orchard. The way I hope to see it is: the deer will see, hear, smell the humans getting closer, but not leave the park, since the trail doesn't invade the little piece of sanctuary they have left. Plus, I will have a shorter distance to travel from the normal human trail! Or, the deer will simply find another venue, become nocturnal, or simply more skiddish.
