Planning an extended hunt

Postby ToddRvs » Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:17 pm

I have been thinking about this for a couple of years now. That is taking an extended hunting trip of at least 2 weeks to 4 weeks in the woods. I was thinking of Alaska or maybe out west some where. This wood be a pack in hunt.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where to go. I am looking for some place that would allow an extended hunting period. I was thinking of going in late November to mid December in 2011 when the game is most active and most everything is in season. This will be a bowhunt only trip and I wouldn't mind haveing a few fellow forum members joining me. Could prove to be a great experience. So you wanna go.

I went on a cross country motorcycle trip with a buddy of mine after I retired from the military. We were gone the better part of month and camped out at numerous spots along the way only staying in a motel about once a week mostly to just get a shower and wash the road dust of us. It truly a great experience. I saw parts of america I only ever saw in books and read about.
