I think I will make a new bow, any ideas?

Well I broke my bow early this morning hunting and I have decided to make a new bow I was thinking of Hickory or maybe a yew bow. I would like to back it with maple or sinew or maybe laminate it. I think I will make this one with recurve tips. Wanted to know what the board thinks. Any Ideas?

Todd: I think this question is well beyond the scope of knowledge that most here have on the subject, myself included, as I just like to shoot traditional bows and have never made one.
