Does your bow have a name?

Postby Patriot » Wed Feb 18, 2009 7:24 am

On a recent post, MDV WI Hunter mentioned his bow was named Clarice (and it was a she).

So....question....is your bow a he or a she....and do you give it a name?

I never thought of it, but if I did my bow would be a "he" and named "The Widowmaker".

My bow is a "bow". It has no "gender" (at least not that I'm aware of). It does have a name though, "Mathews DXT". Seriously though, I cant say I ever even thought about giving my bow a name. I know some folks do, and thats cool. I'm not knocking the guys (or girls) that do (so save the "hate mail"), I'm just sayin, I dont do it.

Hmm...I've heard of people giving their guns names, but not bows. Well I've gotta see next season if my new PSE deserves a name [;)]

Shoot yeah...She's a 07' Diamond Liberty So I named her " Lady"
It matters not the weapon nor its caliber, rather the caliber of the one who wields it.

I've called my bow by many different names, especially at the 3-D course.  None of which would be appropriate for this site.
