I could see naming a bow if you shoot a recurve or long bow but most of us shoot a compound and dont become that attached to them

 
 
First off welcome, I gotta disagree with your post though(sorry). I have a compound bow and am very attached to it, in fact my wife says she's surprised it doesn't come to bed with us! [:)][:)]

I have never shot at a deer with anything yet. Hopefully the used PSE I got for Christmas will earn a fabulous name this upcoming season. Being my first bow I don't think we will ever part.

Goose, funny you mentioned that.  I got yelled at yesterday (3/8/09) for "touching" it.  Or maybe it was because I kept her on my lap while we watched tv??  hard to tell.....
