Never really thought about it before, but I think "Krueger" would be a good name. I'm hoping my 82nd Airborne is a deer's worst nightmare.

Why Krueger?  I do like it (it's my last name).

My faithful Golden Eagle Evolution is called "Ol' Painless". To quote Jesse Ventura, I sit in my treestand and tell the deer, "Come on in, Ol' painless is waiting." I have a new Horton compound bow for this year and it has not earned a name yet.

I could see naming a bow if you shoot a recurve or long bow but most of us shoot a compound and dont become that attached to them

Patriot, it's from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" horror films. Freddie Krueger was the scary bad guy in those flicks.

I thought that might be it.  Maybe I'll call my bow Freddie.
