55 # weight (no letoff)
carbon express arrows
and the broadheads that came with them..... not sure what kind...
have not had the setup that long just got the bow this past summer.. and just got the arrows last week.
i am taking this season off from bow though just because i have not shot a bow of any kind in like 10 years and need to practice long and hard and get everything in tune..... but that is ok... by next fall... watchout mr. buck....
besides i have turkey season and then firearms deer season, plus thinkin about pickin up my bear tag....

I am shooting a Mathews DXT I bought used and set up this year. I would like to try a recurve in the near future.

I shoot my Samick Spikeman 50# recurve the most of my collection of recurves.
Arrows: Carbon Expess Heritage 150's @ 30"
Broadhead: Zwickey Eskimo 165 gr
My vintage recurves are:
Bear Super Kodiak 55#
Bear Kodiak Hunter 45#
Bear Kodiak Magnum 45#
Browning Wasp 53#

Ben Pearson 60# Longbow shoot Easton Legacy 2020's
Selfbow 45#.. shoot self nock woodies off of this one.
I have compounds in the Mathews Drenalin, Black Max and the Jennings CMX. The Jennings CMX might be converted into an aluminum riser recurve.

Just got a new bow this summer. I am now shooting a Parker Wildfire, 60# and 29"draw. With Easton 2315 Gamegetter XX75s and Zwickey 125 grain Eskimo 4 blade braodhead.
Of course this is hard. It's supposed to be hard, thats what makes it great. If it was easy everyone would do it!

Just in case anyone is wondering I practice with all of them before ever thinking of taking them hunting. This is the first year trying out mechanicals. It was one of the tweaks this year after wounding and losing three straight deer this season. So far I am impressed with the mechs.

Good bow for the money since purchasing in 2008.

hahaha 60lbs of killing power cant really go wrong now can it? i also use muzzy mx3's with whitetail 6050 arrows i think... been awhile since ive looked at the box!
