I don't know....could be, that deer looks real big, and the guy in the 2nd picture on the right looks at least 250 lbs. That deer is the size of a pony!
Either way they got real nice deer which will alone, fill their freezer.

that deer is enormous. like shadow stated it does look like a small pony. they must have had fun dragging it out, hopefully they could get a vehicle close by. how old do you think it is?

The pic has been photoshopped.  Look at the hunter's head and left hand in the top photo; they don't match the rest of the body in size.  It surely is a huge buck but I doubt the exact details since the photo was doctored.

This is fake.  I actually saw it a couple years ago, for the first time.  Obvious photoshop.

Fake? If you say so, but it looks legit to me. I guess it takes a trained eye to spot photoshop.
 
I'll say this, if it were real that buck deserves as much attention as any deer with 200+" antlers.

This buck and related story was in either North American Whitetail, Whitetail Journal or Deer an Deer Hunting last year.  I remember bits and pieces of the article and it was not New York(where I live).  It was Wisconsin or adjoining state and the bow hit was less then perfect.  The deer was recovered a day or two later and suposely weighed.

I was thinking the deer appears bloated and then read the link from kribbz....yep...bloated. 
 
Also the weight was simply an estimate based on measuring chest girth.
 
As we all know, camera angle and perspective can make objects look much bigger in a photo.
 
Still...nice deer!
