fake i think
i mean ya look at the guys head in the top photo his head is the size of a basketball compared to his body
something looks not right with the deer look at the color of the blood
the deer looks roten in a way
the blood is brown colored meaning it has had alot of time to sit and dry
which probably means that it is bloated
its a 240+ deer but its a little bigger than normal

Not fake, bloated due to injury. Patriot is right on.

Agreed, but bloat does not swell the neck/chest so I do not see the snoops explanation of the questionable measurements as valid.

While the attributed story is bogus, it appears that the deer was at least close to 400 lbs. Wow!

After looking at the picture again, I feel that the deer is legit but the picture of the hunter altered. Why would anyone put their face on a body not theirs and place (yourself) in a situation to claim it as your own?

I dont know if these pics are real, or "doctered" (quite frankly,I dont care). I just find it funny that whenever something 'out of the ordinary' pops up, "it's fake"!!!  I mean, God forbid something freakish would actually exist!

Well stated paulie.  I'm usually not one to get too opinionated on such trivial things.....but at least it gives us "D&DH geeks" something to talk about.[8D]

Maybe they measured the deer prior to gutting it out.  I suppose they could have measured the bloated gut area instead of the upper chest.  Who knows?
