I wounded a deer because of taking too long of a shot (big deer). Spent alot of time trying to retrieve it. One of the worst days of my life, almost quit hunting. My wife knew how ethical I am & talked me out of quitting. Since then have limited myself to 35 yds max.

I think the general opinion on this is only you know your max distance and you have to abide by that.
