Bow Companies Switching Things Up ?

Just thought it was weird this year so far. Mathews- Famous for their Solocam comes out with a twin cam.
PSE- Comes out with new line of solocams in part with the Drury's

Maybe they figure, they need to be versatile to stay competative? I dont know, I think its good to see new designs. I dont really get the whole "need for speed" thing though. I mean I understand people want "fast bows" but come on, 360 fps, that just crazy. I am curious to see how smooth that bow shoots though. I mean its one thing to make a smooth shooter, and its one thing to make a "lightning" fast shooter, but to make one thats both, that would be somthing!

They are going back to the dual cams for the need for speed crowd. Although the new reezen from mathews at 340fps is no slouch. Comparable to the DXT as far as smoothness and vibration. It amazes me that mathews is getting that kind of speed with almost zero felt vibration. One can only imagine that the monster will be in the same boat as the rest of the mathews line.
 
I cant imagine mathews putting their name on a bow that has just an "ok" draw cycle and much hand shock if any.
 
Should be interesting and ill report as soon as i find one to shoot!

Force Draw Curve is a graphical depiction of the way a bow stores energy. Basically you measure the draw weight at every inch during the cycle and plot it on a chart, then connect the dots.

It will show you how rapidly poundage builds,at what point the peak weight is reached, at what point let off begins, and then allow you to calculate the stored energy of your bow.

I've heard the Reezen vibrates like a tuning fork, but I've never shot one myself.
