Getting Rage 2's to lock

Is there a secret to getting the Gage 2 blade expandables to lock in place . I have the darndest time getting them to lock . Is there a little secret to doing this or what ?

I think it all depends... Mine locked real easy while a guy at an archery shop in Escanaba said his gave him a lot of trouble. You think about calling Rage and asking if they can send you a pair that locks real easily?

I don't know if this is a trick, but grasp the broadhead firmly with my thumb and index finger pressing down on the "shoulders" of the two blades. I do have to be careful not to bump them on anythig, but I have not had problems with premature openage.

After the blades are in the locked position use a small nail/pin/screwdriver whatever to pull out the o ring a little it seems to help them seat a little better.

I Basically do what striker does, there is a little notch on the backside of each blade..you want to make sure its snug up against the o ring

i noticed that problem to
but as soon as i put it on my arrow the blades seemed to lock a little better so i did exactly what striker did i just push them in at the bottom till they are snug up to the o ring and let them fly

Thanks for the replies . I have the arrows in my bow case . I will have to try out the suggestions tomorrow morning when I go hunting .

Mine come unlocked when I put them into my quiver.That is the only thing I dont like about them.
