I also use the HSS vest style. It is worth the expense cause it is easier to wear and you are more apt to keep wearing it. The "plain" strap variety is confusing to put on in the dark and may (like in my case) incline one to not wear one at all. I nearly fell out last year and decided that was it and bought a easy to use "good" harness.
