Just wanted remind everyone before your next hunt or practice inspect your strings and cables.
As I was setting in my stand this morning, something on my cam cought my attention. Upon further inspection I found that the serving on my cable had worn through and the cable was starting to show signs of wear also. I think it probably would have lasted through hunting season, but it's not worth the risk of getting injured, breaking a bow limb or putting a bad shot on a animal. Luckily I have excellent bow shop nearby and they fixed me up in about 15min.
