Survey - Archery License Fee

Postby Patriot » Tue Sep 30, 2008 4:57 pm

The prior post regarding Missouri license fees leads me to ask:

What does a resident archery license cost in your state?

Minnesota is $27.  You can purchase additional doe tags (for certain parts of the state) for $15.

I'm liking MD compared to VA for license fees. MD's resident hunting license is $24.50, bow stamp $6.00, muzzleloader stamp $6.00. Can't complain about that. I think in VA I was paying like 70-80 bucks as a resident

In Vermont the Resident archery license is $17.00 BUT
a Resident archer has to have the Resident hunting license also and that's $20.00

Resident Archery in New York State is ----- $16

In order to be elligible to purchase an Archery license , you have to pass the Archery Safety Course as well as The Gun Safety Course .
A couple years ago , my youngest son took the Archery Safety Course and passed . He applied for his Bow Hunting License but wasn't able to get it because he hadn't taken the Gun Safety Course . He had no intention of gun hunting . [8|][8|][8|]
