has anybody used the heat shrink fletching/crestings? just curious how well they work. ive been fletching and cresting my own arrows for alot of years and these kind of intrigue me.

I have not used them yet and like you I build my own arrows. I have not seen any with a helical on them yet. Its a good idea if it works and im sure theyll sell alot of them.

they make em with helical now they're called twisters i believe. if they work they would be so much faster and easier.

I used them alot before I got my fletching jig. They work perfectly, but kinda expensive. I keep a few in my bow case just in case I'm out in about.

Somebody makes them with helical feathers, but I've not seen them for sale anywhere
