100 grain or 125 grain heads

How do you decide what weight head to go with? Is it a function of arrow spine? Is there a chart somewhere?
 
I switched arrows to the new Aramid KV 350s and I am wondering if 100 grain heads are still the best for my 27-inch arrows. I am shooting 68-69 pounds.

You'll lose about 8 fps if you used 125s over 100s, but theres probably some kind of kinetic energy gain.

its all in what you want really. like danes dad said, the 125 will give you more kinetic energy, but with the 100's you can shoot a little faster which means more compensation for yardage error.

I shoot the 100-grain, 3-blade Muzzys. I just didn`t like the thought of the extra weight of the 125`s.

it depends on the arrow you shoot. you dont want to get a 125 grain if ur arrow is very light becuz it will weigh the arrow down more than you want it too. also speed is a factor as they said above and knetic energy

Another thing to consider is whatever grain of Fieldtips you practice with you need to shoot the same weight of broadheads so you shoot consistant!

Thanks everyone for the info. I am going with the 100 grain heads. They are flying great, so why mess with it.
