Great story . You had a bad break but you'll get over it . You went a lot farther to try to find the deer than most folks would have done . Kudos for that . A lot of us have done the same thing shootin -- practice without wearing the clothing that we hunt in .........I shoot all summer in a tee shirt and no arm guard . I make sure I am wearing the arm guard over a long sleeve shirt when hunting the the string doesn't hit my sleeve .
