Interesting arrow discussion

I thought this was an interesting article by a really awesome Wisconsin writer, Carrie Zylka, about arrow preference. Nice pics also. So what are you shooting this year?

I liked the way she described her choice, but it seems like every new arrow that comes out is the best ever. Seems like arrow mfgs. just use that to increase the price. I still shoot -6" groups with aluminum out to 40 yds. but would like to try carbon. It's hard to justify $100 for a dozen arrows, and each year they seem to go up about 10 - 15 bucks.

I have to agree, Prices are just going up and up. A couple years ago I decided to save the Money and invest in a good Jig. Now I enjoy by Aug and Sept by purchasing raw shafts, cresting my arrows and fletching them myself. It is actually really easy and you can experiment and create some unique colors.
