looking for someone to hunt with next year

I am planning a hunt to St. Vincent Island in the Florida Panhandle next year. I have hunted there before and it is a special permit hunt only. There are a lot of deer and a lot of hog, also Sandbar Deer, they need a special permit I believe. When I hunted there a few years ago it was a good hunt but I went by myself and camped for the 3 days of the special archery hunt. I did not take any deer then but I saw a lot good shooters just not within bow range.

Any way this will be in the beginning of November 2011 Dates are yet to be announced. This will be a pack in and camp hunt. You are hunting on an island and the weather is in the low 50's to the high 70's. It is a bow hunt only for deer and hog, no sandbar deer.

I live about 50 miles from their and never hunted the Island.Been to it by boat 20 years ago lol!

Do they still allow SandBar deer to be harvested?
I have a friend here in panama city that shot one along time ago, said the meat was alittle tufffffffff.

I have family in Lack City Florida, As far as I know the sandbar can be hunted but it is a draw quota I believe. I am more interested in the Whitetail and hogs, and the permit is only 25 dollars. If you want to go PM or email me and let's talk.
