Sunday Hunt

Postby wccanty » Sun Aug 08, 2010 4:40 am

Sunday Hunting may come to Mass. I heard theres a Bill at the state house to give sunday back to a hunters choice. That is what is right!
I hunt N.H. and N.Y. on sundays. I live in Mass.

I would be shocked if past. This has been tried countless times before and gets shot down each time.

Not being able to hunt on Sunday's is about as stupid as not being able to buy alcohol in Indiana on that day.

Stupid laws like these, are one of the reasons why I don't go to church.

hunting sunday would be good,
I can see the opposition when it comes to public land, but if you're hunting your own property, or someone elses with permission, I dont see why such a law wouldn't/shouldn't go thru.

I'm all for being able to hunt on sundays!! I don't know why it should make a difference if it's public land or private though?

We had a visit to our gun club from Lt. Gov candidate (Paul Lasiccoco - did I spell that right?) a little while ago, and he said that he and his running mate (Tim Cahill) were in support of the Sunday hunting bill. We also have one of the Mass Wildlife big wigs as a member, and she said they have been asking for this for many years, and as mentioned it keeps getting "shot down" every time it comes up for a vote. I guess this is what we get for living in the great state for Massachusetts!
