deer sighted

Ha everybody, this post is to share your deer sighting from a day to day basis. In hope that we'll collaborate informations and thus knowing what is happening around us in our 2010 archery season. Give your zone by, western, central, north east (lowell) and cape area. This will give us a bigger picture of deer activities in MA.
To report,
- activity; what was the deer doing. i/e, feeding, walking on trial, etc..
- date and time. very important.
- weather condition.

The last two weeks I haven't captured a deer on my trail cam at all. Last Friday 10/29 I was leaving my hunting ground at 7 am (due to the general contractor building a huge house next door) and almost hit two good sized does. Other guys at my gun club have been seeing deer on the club grounds moving around dusk. I am in zone 10, in the MetroWest area.

I was driving back from dropping my daughter off at college in Providence yesterday and the were three dead deer on the side of Rt 95 between Rt 495 and the exit to Rt 27 in Walpole. 1 big doe, 1 small doe and a 6 point buck.

I also saw a good sized coyote this morning while driving to my stand.

I'm up on the NorthShore. Trapping season opens today, them coyote furs make for good mittens and hats.

11/1 pm hunt, didn't see any deer while on stand. but I almost ran a 6 pointer over on the way home at 6:34pm..

[:@] 11/2 hunt, pm. no deer around. but I did shaved a coyote thou. the 2nd coyote that comes into rattling this year.

Arrived at 4:00pm and in the stand by 4:30pm. The leaves are slowing down my entry as they are dry and make alot of noise. The winds were calm out of the north. About 50 yards to my right a group of turkey were chirping away.
 
No deer sighting. Out of the woods at 6:00pm

Went out to the stand last night to prep for this morning. Checked the trail cam and it was loaded with photos. Finally they the deer are back in the area! Then I go home and remembered that we had a parent - teacher meeting this morning at 7:45 - that will kill a morning hunt!

[:)] went for a walk today, 11/7.  came over this little knoll and surprise a 4 or 6 pointer at 50 yards.  we just kind of stood there and looked at each other.  time 8:45am,

I must be doing something wrong no deer in sight. I have 3 locations but no deer this season. It's been suggested that I do not use any of my calls as its to early in the season. So basicly just sit and wait, which gets a little boring.
 
Are you guys using calls? If so, what type? How often?
 
Any thoughts? I hoping the rut or shotgun season will get things moving.
